This year, National Dialogue (ND) in Rakhine did not happen inside Rakhine as the government stopped so that we, Rakhine do not have any sector development papers for Union Peace Conference (UPC). This is why, Arakan stakeholders who are two Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs), political parties and CBO/CSOs , sat down together for writing Arakan National Sector Policy Development to support coming UPC or our future Government, in Thai-Myanmar/Burma border, which is far away from our home land. The meeting took 4 days and its result seems great.
Where is freedom of speech inside Myanmar/Burma or our land? Here, from this Stakeholders Meeting, we have all sector development written together, agreed. At this National Level Discussion, I participated at Social Sector Development as the facilitator because I have been a participant/leader at Union Peace Dialogue Joint Committee.
Understanding that all stakeholders of Arakan should be sitting down for Policy/Principle Development of all sector development, we need to meet up and work hard more this times. One day, it is believed that we must have our own real Federal Government which will bring our people and its land to one of the most developed country/Land. Thus, we are preparing from now on. More professional stakeholders need to participate more to develop Policy/Principle.
